This softwares main goal is to help you accomplish your goals in life. To travel to any location two things must be established. Where you are and where you want to go. It is our guess you know where you are in life. Or at the very least have a good idea. What might be lacking is knowing where you want to go. This software will help you find that location and then plan the steps to get there.
Step ZERO
When you first open the application you will be presented with a logon screen It is quite easy to understand. Enter your name in the name field. Then press the "NEW ACCOUNT" button. The application will log you in automatically.
Step 1
Now that you've logged into the program you can select your name, from the list off to the left of the screen in a tree view. (This should feel almost like a file manager) You should double click on the name you entered. It will bring up a brief "user info" form.
note:The form has questions about your business should you have one. This program is very handy for people starting or operating their own business because it not only allows for planning but also contains some nice invoicing features.
Step 2
We will now move on to the My Life from. If you double click on it a new form will open up . To the left you can see a series of questions. Answering these questions is a very reliable way to find and put focus in your life. More importantly answering them will give you an overwhelming feeling of pride relaxation and confidence. Something you may not have felt in a long time. Over time these feelings will leave you. When that happens I suggest opening up the form and answering them again. If a question doesn't seem clear the help menu item should clean it up. Additionally the questions will mean different things to you at different times.
Step 3
The last question on this form. This question allows you to make a list of all the parts of your life that you find important. Typically these are outlined in your answer to the first question. Area's help you group like goals. It makes everything more manageable if you break down the big thing that is your life. Here are some of mine: Business, Family, Financial, Friends, Health, Marketing, and Education. I have a few more but that's how my Life WorX.
Step 4
We can't go anywhere if we don't have a goal. After you've created your area's it's time for goals. The easiest way to create them is in the tree. If you right click inside the tree or select the menu item File->New Goal you will see a window that has quite easy to understand fields. On this form you must select the Area that the goal belongs to. From there the name and a completion date. Perhaps the most important thing to remember when filling out this form is MEASURE. A goal that can't be measured is not a goal. To have more money or lose weight. What does that mean? It is so subjective that it can never be reached and at the same time reached to easily. On the bottom of the form you will see the question "How far have I gone in this goal? " It is a good idea to review that field at least once a month. Though the more often you think about it the more likely you are to achieve the goal.
STEP 5
The last step to the quick start. The TO-DO. Though many have given the to-do a bad rep if you structure your to-do's around progressing in your life's goals then every one you cross of your list brings you closer to your dreams. "These dreaded little things pile up." some argue. Then the question should come up. How important are the goals they support? If you look at each item on this list as a step towards greatness or an extra boost of energy pushing you towards your LIFE they become things of greatness. To create them is a simple thing. Select the goal and navigate in the file menu to the New To Do item. Fill in the screen and don't forget to save.
There are a bunch of other things in this program that don't really fall under the quick start. I suggest you play with the app. Click on all the menu items. See what happens when you right click on the main screen, or press the enter button. The program
should be easy enough to use. If not then... We (I mean I)haven't done our job.
